Cockroach Theory A beautiful speech by Sundar Picha







The cockroach theory for self development

At a restaurant, a cockroach suddenly flew from somewhere and sat on a lady.

She started screaming out of fear.

With a panic stricken face and trembling voice, she started jumping, with both her hands desperately trying to get rid of the cockroach.

Her reaction was contagious, as everyone in her group also got panicky.

The lady finally managed to push the cockroach away but ...it landed on another lady in the group.

Now, it was the turn of the other lady in the group to continue the drama.

The waiter  rushed forward to their  rescue.

In the relay of throwing, the cockroach next fell upon the waiter.

The waiter stood firm, composed himself and observed the behavior of the cockroach on his shirt.

When he was confident enough, he grabbed it with his fingers and threw it out of the restaurant.

Sipping my coffee and watching the amusement, the antenna of my mind picked up a few thoughts and started wondering, was the cockroach responsible for their histrionic behavior?

If so, then why was the waiter not disturbed?

He handled it near to perfection, without any chaos.

It is not the cockroach, but the inability of those people to handle the disturbance caused by the cockroach, that disturbed the ladies.

I realized that, it is not the shouting of my father or my boss or my wife that disturbs me, but it's my inability to handle the disturbances caused by their shouting that disturbs me.

It's not the traffic jams on the road that disturbs me, but my inability to handle the disturbance caused by the traffic jam that disturbs me.

More than the problem, it's my reaction to the problem that creates chaos in my life.

Lessons learnt from the story:

I understood, I should not react in life.
I should always respond.

The women reacted, whereas the waiter responded.

Reactions are always instinctive whereas responses are always well thought of.

A beautiful way to understand............LIFE.

Person who is HAPPY is not because Everything is RIGHT in his Life..

He is HAPPY because his Attitude towards Everything in his Life is Right..!!

Do you fee stuck? 3 Ways To Change Your Mood Instantly

I dont know what to do I am stuck 
I feel like I am in rat race
I feel discouraged

Do you often hear these words from other people's around you? or you find yourself falling in it? We are all human beings we have ups and down moments ,,,you fail more often than you win,you think it is all gone with the wind and you cant achieve your dreams.

I know this may happen for sometimes,but how you can change your mood and get up again,this is what I will try to discuss and hopefully help you now within this post,just bear with me I have some useful pRaCtICaL tips for you to go with.

First ,let us see how this happens ,you start working through the day ,you waste some time,you r feeling of time wasted without doing things kill you,or may be you spilled your coffee or cut your shirt while your wearing it.

You stuck...I know this is a self destructive
You need to make some stuff that change your mood instantly and here is some useful tips.
I plan to make this topic in a lot of posts because it really worth it ,but let us  some examples of stuff we can do.


1. Fake a smile
:


Just try to remain angry with a smile on your face—it's impossible.
The idea of this tip is based on reverse engineering  mechanism ,when you are angry from inside it interpret out on your face with this negative grin,so we reverse it by smiling we force ourselves to feel happy or at least don't feel sad
 
Clean your Room:


Looking around you to find everything is messed up whether at home or at work is something that may drive you crazy( I know I experience this many times) 

Take this decision  right now,cut 10 minutes from working,turn of your PC or put in stand by mood,stand up and go make few simple things to make your room look better.Pick up clothes from the floor,arrange and collect books in your front desk,clean your desk from unwanted papers,empty glasses to the kitchen,and don't forget to put all the garbage in the trash can
believe it or not living in an organized environment has a major effect on your mood.

Do some stretches :

Changing your physiology affect your biochemistry which eventually affects your psychology,get up make some starches ,work out for 10-20 minutes ,do some exorcises ,break a sweat,this without a doubt will change you moon instantly ..I tried it ,time and time again.
If your depressed just run,you will feel better.Period
As I said in begining of this post we may need to break this topic into many posts as in has to be discussed with more details and alot of examples .I just try to make every post simple so that you find it easy to read and implement.

How And Why to Stop Multitasking and Stay Productive,Make Better Relationships

Hello everybody to today’s post. This post is uniquely special as it offers something that might shock you, really I mean it.

As we aspire to become (Goal Super Achievers) we try to make things to increase our productivity, so we make 2 things at a time which we call multitask, hoping that this will help us make the best out of our time, but the real truth about the so-called “Multitasking” may really shock you, why? 

Before I go in more details trying to explain why multitasking is bad ,let us go watch this awesome video for Eileen, it will sum up everything about multitasking why you need to stop it in a very exciting and funny way. Watch it before you continue to this article



Now that you have watched it,( I knew you would laugh out loud,didn’t you) you have a bit of conflict.We have been told many times before from our bosses ,your trainers and our HR consultant that multitasking is good ,yet every desired and dream job require that you have the ability to multitask.

So what is the truth ,is it a good skill or does it really hurt to multitask?

Researchers studied 1,100 workers at a British company and found that multitasking with electronic media caused a greater decrease in IQ than smoking pot or losing a night's sleep. (As far as I know, no one has yet studied the effects on IQs of bad sit-com watching).

"To put it bluntly, research shows that we can't multitask. We are biologically incapable," says John Medina, author of the book "BrainRules."

Can the human brain multitask?

Here is another study that says “Multitasking really hurt your brain
The study suggests that people who try to manage two things (multiple stuff) at a time lose productivity and their ability to learn may deceases.

"We have to be aware that there is a cost to the way that our society is changing," Russell Poldrack, a psychology professor at the University of California, Los Angeles, recently told National Public Radio. "Humans are not built to work this way."

Also I have found another important proof that we are not really able to multitask.it really hurt and let us loose our focus, and ultimately decrease productivity.

He is the author of “The Myth of Multitasking” in which he reveals how the mind cant multitask, also how it is a big lie that we can multitask, it wastes our time and most importantly is damage out relationship:

So by now I think you have the big picture, may be with more details, multitasking is not as good as we used to think, as we used to be told by others.
For me I decided not to speak to my mother while working or even looking at my laptop, this really hurt and I am sure is made her disappointed with me.
While you are doing it in a way to increase productivity it deceases our productivity in fact. How shocking is this J

The law of attraction has been around for some time. Even so, not everyone is familiar with it. There are also a number of those who are a little aware of what it is but have not been able to benefit from it. This may be because they are only superficially aware of the concept but may not really know how it all works. This, more than ever, is the time to discover the true meaning and power of this law.

What It Is?

The attraction law is what you might call a universal law. This means it applies to every single human being on earth, regardless of location, race and personal circumstance. You can therefore be assured that nothing and no one can discriminate against your benefiting from this law.

In simple terms, this law states that like attracts like. This however, should be understood beyond physical likeness. The attraction law specifically points to similar energies attracting each other. It has been proven by numerous individuals that thinking in a certain way will attract occurrences of a similar nature. Hence, thinking positively can attract positive occurrences and negative thinking will attract negative outcomes. These are known as like energies.



How to Use It?


The law of attraction entails more than just thinking positively. A positive frame of mind simply implies a general outlook of the universe. The law should be applied in a deeper, more specific way. To be able to benefit from the law, you must clearly know and think of what you want. Other believers in the law go farther by visualizing what they want in the present tense. This is your way of asking the universe to give you your desire. With your clear vision in mind, you have to act as if you already own it. Once you own what you want, you have to prepare yourself to receive it.



One crucial factor in this law is your ability to let go of all doubts. Some people wonder why they are not able to benefit from the law when they have religiously followed the steps to using it. It is important to understand that among many individuals, there are always small grains of doubt. Individuals may be aware of these doubts and simply push them to the back or they may be unconscious of them. Doubts about what you want or your right to receive it will undermine the entire process.

Mind Power

For a lot of people, letting go of doubts is never simple or easy. Even the most positive thinkers may occasionally experience moments of uncertainty or may hesitate at the moment when their dreams are about to come true.

Believing completely in what you want and in the certainty of receiving it may take some practice for some people. If this is true for you, then begin everyday with exercises to strengthen your mind. Practice everyday visualizing what you want and owning it and you will have begun your journey into using the law of attraction to your advantage.

"What Really Makes You Tick?" 10 questions you should ask to yourself: a preparation to self-improvement

Be all you can be, but it's not always in the Army. I often see myself as somewhat contented with my life the way things are, but of course it's hard to think of anything else when where are real issues to be discussed.

Still I aspire for something deeper and more meaningful.

So we're all faced with problems. Honestly it shouldn't even bother or even hinder us to becoming all we ought to be. Aspirations as kids should continue to live within us, even though it would be short-lived or as long as we could hold on to the dream. They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks… or can they?

I am always fascinated of self study and self evaluation- how can one improve himself by asking himself serious questions and answering with sincere answers
these are answers that no one else will see or hear but help you discover more about yourself.
These are some questions you should ask yourself- consider spending sometime with your self in calm place with a pen and a paper answering these questions,don't let your subconscious mind fool you by shallow simple answers,go deeper and deeper to explore and extract more from your inner core.


1. What do I really want?
The question of the ages. So many things you want to do with your life and so little time to even go about during the day.

Find something that you are good at can help realize that small step towards improvement. Diligence is the key to know that it is worth it.
The thing is you need to know the real reason you want some specific thing.

2. Should I really change?
Today's generation has taken another level of redefining 'self', or at least that's what the kids are saying. Having an army of teenage nieces and nephews has taught me that there are far worse things that they could have had than acne or maybe even promiscuity. So how does that fit into your lifestyle?


3. What's the bright side in all of this?
With so much is happening around us there seem to be no room for even considering that light at the end of the tunnel( Or do we?). We can still see it as something positive without undergoing so much scrutiny. And if it's a train at the end of the tunnel, take it for a ride and see what makes the world go round!

4. Am I comfortable with what I'm doing?
There's always the easy way and the right way when it comes to deciding what goes with which shoes, or purse, shirt and whatnot. It doesn't take a genius to see yourself as someone unique, or else we'll all be equally the same in everything we do. Variety brings in very interesting and exciting questions to be experimented.



5. Have I done enough for myself?
Have you, or is there something more you want to do? Discontentment in every aspect can be dangerous in large doses, but in small amounts you'll be able to see and do stuff you could never imagine doing.

6. Am I happy at where I am today?
It's an unfair question so let it be an answer! You love being a good and loving mom or dad to your kids, then take it up a notch! Your kids will love you forever. The same goes with everyday life!


7. How much could I have?
I suppose in this case there is no such things on having things too much or too little, but it's more on how badly you really need it. I'd like to have lots of money, no denying that, but the question is that how much are you willing to work for it?

8. What motivates me?
What motivates you? It's an answer you have to find out for yourself. There are so many things that can make everyone happy, but to choose one of the may be the hardest part. It's not like you can't have one serving of your favorite food in a buffet and that's it. Just try it piece by piece.

9 What Really Makes You Tick?
So? What really makes you tick? You can be just about anything you always wanted to be, but to realize that attaining something that may seem very difficult is already giving up before you even start that journey. Always remember, that self-improvement is not just about the physical or philosophical change you have to undergo, but it's something that you really want.


Can you really answer these questions honestly?I think you need to become more and more sincere with yourself ,do your best with this exercise and answer them,refer to them every once in a while.
